Take a trip to Space (and be home for dinner!)

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is out of this world.

Living on Florida’s Space Coast offers almost monthly chances to witness rockets launch from America’s Gateway to Space – Cape Canaveral. Living on Florida’s Space Coast also gives you the chance to experience space like never before at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSC). Just one small step from anywhere in the region, KSC is a launching center for family fun, education, and an experience that is quite literally out of this world. Best of all – calling Florida’s Space Coast home allows for year-round fun at KSC with their annual pass options.

We took a trip to KSC recently, and here are our top three jaw-dropping moments:

1.     Coming Face-to-Face With a Legend

No spoiler alerts here, but let’s just say the KSC’s attraction “Shuttle: A Ship Like No Other” will take your breath away. The actual Space Shuttle Atlantis hangs high above, while educational opportunities surround it. Of course, there’s family fun too! From a slide that yes, even adults will love, to the Shuttle Launch Experience – this is a must do at KSC. And living on Florida’s Space Coast makes it all a short drive away.

2.     Traveling Back In Time

Seeing the Saturn V rocket easily checks off as one of the most memorable moments. The largest rocket ever flown, there are no words to describe the wonder of the Apollo/Saturn V Center. So we simply won’t write anything, except this is one you have to see for yourself when you make the move to Florida’s Space Coast.

3.     Going Behind the Scenes

See historic launch sites, NASA restricted areas, and the famous Vehicle Assembly Building on the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour. Best of all – its included in with daily admission. If you’re looking for an even closer look, purchase a ticket for the Special Interest Tour.

The great thing about visiting KSC while living on Florida’s Space Coast (other than the mind-blowing attractions) is that you’re a short drive away from home, or from Playalinda Brewing Company – Brix Project . But, we’ll save the details on that for another post.So now that you’re ready to take a trip to space, visit kennedyspacecenter.com to explore more!
