The Space Coast’s top master-planned community, Viera, has been making some major announcements on amenities that you won’t want to miss.
Viera, the sprawling, best-selling master-planned community, is at the heart of Florida’s Space Coast. Viera is the embodiment of a vibrant lifestyle offering a variety of homes and amenities, all built with thoughtful stewardship of the land. Recently, Viera has been making some big and exciting announcements regarding these amenities – all at the great anticipation of locals. From new hotels and restaurants to state-of-the-art parks – you’re gonna want to see what’s up and coming on the Space Coast’s flagship community. We take a look at just SOME of the exciting announcement below.
Viera was named the #20th and #24th best-selling master-planned community in the nation!
Borrows West
Retail, residential and office space – oh my! Viera’s 115-acre Burrows West will consist of all three surrounding a large lake with waterfront amenities and linear park. New eateries, some already under way, will include Ford’s Garage, Olive Tree Greek Grill, Venezia Wine Veranda and a Polynesian-themed Tiki Docks restaurant and bar.
The new Instagram-worthy linear park aimed at adults will offer waterfront seating to take meals. Officials from Viera have said to look for oversized swings and chairs, perfect for that photo-worthy moment. This relaxing park, with no playgrounds, tennis courts or the like, will be the first of its kind in Viera – offering a real dining experience.
That’s not all, either. Site development is underway on two hotels, Homewood Suites by Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn. The Hilton Garden Inn will feature a rooftop bar and restaurant, the perfect place to watch one of the Space Coast’s weekly rocket launches.
Viera Town Center
Located near the growing Avenue Viera (see more on that below), the Viera Town Center district will be the cornerstone of the community. Featuring events, dining, shopping and recreation. The district’s newest addition, Urban Prime Restaurant and Marketplace has made a huge splash already offering a shop, dine and gather experience.
A new children’s playground, community event lawn and dog park is perfect for both the 2 and 4 legged children. The adjoining walkway was purposefully constructed with enough open green space to accommodate vendor event tents, allowing the Town Center to serve as an ideal location for art festivals, farmers’ markets, and other exciting community events.
Maybe most exciting is the residential offerings in the Viera Town Center district. The Pearl of Viera Apartments offer brand new one, two, and three bedroom apartments all among a relaxing resort-style pool with sunshelf and cabanas, indoor and outdoor kitchen with lounging areas, car care center, and on-site dog park. North American Properties, a real estate developer, recently purchased land adjacent to the The Pearl and Urban Prime, where it will build the Nova Apartments of Viera – an apartment complex tailored to urban living. And, like its sister unit, Luna Apartments of Viera just across the street, Nova Apartments will feature stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wood-style flooring, and keyless entry, not to mention nearby access to restaurants, shopping and entertainment.
Then, the masterpiece of the community – a food truck park will be a place where everyone can gather together for art shows, farmers markets and more. The 2-acre park will feature an amphitheater, bar, refreshment area, large open green and of course – food trucks.
The Avenue Viera
The Avenue Viera has long been a community centerpiece of Viera. This 40,000 acre outdoor oasis of shopping, dining and playing offers a dynamic mix of national retailers, select local merchants, and specialty restaurants – including some new and exciting options. Sur La Table, Lilly Pulitzer, and Skin Laundry will be opening in 2024. This comes on top of recent additions of Sephora and Lululemon.
In addition, the Avenue Viera is now a hot-spot for monthly events. One, coming March 8, 2024 celebrates International Women’s Day and will feature an engaging panel discussion, networking opportunities, professional headshots, and delightful refreshments. Plus all ticket proceeds will be dedicated to Genesis House, an organization committed to providing emergency shelter for homeless senior women, pregnant women, and women with children.
